​Ride and experience authentic Andean culture spending the night in a remote village, in a delux Eco Resort and visiting Ollantaytambo and Chincheros. Includes 2 days of horseback riding.

A 4 day expedition visiting archaeological sites, crossing the high plains and becoming part of tradtional village life high above the Sacred Valley before arriving to an Eco resort and enjoying 2 days of riding and a guided tour of Ollantaytambo. Payment is required to book any journey. A standard responsiblity release waiver provided by the ranch much be signed by each rider. Upon requesting a booking a delatiled list of conditions, inclusions and exclusions will be provided. No cancelations or refunds will be made after booking. For any concerns please contact the ranch. Entrance ticket to the main part of Moray archaeological zone is not included, time dependant and optional.

4 day Delux Expedition - Intermediate to Advanced Riders

Day 1

• You will be collected from you accommodation in Cusco or the Sacred Valley at 9am and taken to Chincheros to the workshop of the "Mama Occlla" women's weaving collective to learn about traditinal Andean Textile processes. For lunch we will enjoy a ceremonial "Pachamanca", Andean meal cooked under the earth, before descending into the Sacred Valley to enjoy a light dinner, campfire and rest in luxury tents at the perfect tranquil forest site, near our ranch.

Day 2

• Leaving the ranch at 9:00am we will ride to Maras Salt Flats and then up to the high village of Maras where we will enjoy lunch before crossing some gullies and the vast agricultural lands. When we arrive at the village of Misminay we will be greeted by a small community of families that will be our hosts for the night, teaching us about Andean family life and medicinal plants. We'll spend the night in a cozy adobe home and enjoy amazing views and total tranquility.

Day 3

• In the morning we will ride to a private viewpoint above the Incan agricultural laboratory of Moray then down to the crest of the valley to enjoy our snacks, facing majestic glaciers and sacred mountains, arriving at the Sacred Valley brewing company for lunch. After lunch we'll reach the river and along past an Incan fortress to arrive at our Eco Lodge in Ollantaytambo. (optional spa)

Day 4

• After breakfast, in the morning we will travel down to the archaological site of Ollantaytambo, enjoying a guided walking tour of the site with our historic guide before enjoying a lunch full of Andean flavours in our favourite restaurant in town and having time to explore the vast artisan market befre traveling onwards. Ollantaytambo is the location of the train station towards Machu Picchu, a perfect location ro embark on the next part of your journey!
