Canadian-born designer, horsewoman and lifelong traveler, Kyd Campbell founded Frontierlab with the pure desire to share incredible travel experiences. She has lived and explored in the Peruvian Andes since 2013 and holds certifications in Equine Assisted Learning (EAGALA) and Wilderness First Aid (WFA,WAFA, WFR).

Rafael Antequera Hoyer
Head Ranch Hand, Logistics
​Rafael is our skilled ranch hand, responsible for horse care and general maintenance. On the trail he takes care of logistics and transport. He is from Punto Fino, Venezuela and has been in the Andes for 3 years.

Guide, Mountaineer
​Paola is one of South America's top female mountaineers and is a wilderness first responder, She is a native Quechua speaker and is our historic guide on multi-day trips.

Nilo is our local Quechua horseman and is native to one of our favorite riding spots, the Lares Valley highlands. His gentle way with the horses and absolute attention to detail makes him essential on any expedition.
