(Jean Pierre Marsal) 202project (fr) is the one man band of JP since 1996. He was one of those kids who starts a band  Without ever having touched an instrument. Bhe quikly started bands and projects, playing the guitar, sing, poetry but also keyboard, sampling, and technical flips... With 202project, he developed his own language mixing blues, electronic, noise and experimentations in every directions but at the same time went in the same way. A wall of sound and love. The first 202project LP was out on Tool Box records in 2003, In 2005 he joined the tean Briefcaserockers (L.A.) then he leave them in 2008... At this time JP 202 has produced more ?han 280 songs including solo records, bands and collabs. At the moment he is visiting skopje ?s a part of his european tour.

Julien Baillod (ch) is a swiss composer and guitarist born in 1972. After being involved in post-rock and jazz-punk bands he is now playing on different kind of scenes, from post-rio to contemporary and electronic avant-garde. At the moment he is working on several projects and collaborations such as Albert Marcoeur (F) ./morFrom/. (CH/NL), Ensemble Raye (CH), etc... Bio is one of Julien Baillod's solo project since 2000. This work is about time, erosion, memories and reminiscent erased traces. Building up present from past events. Based upon guitar and slow and endless delays, Bio's music is contemplative and hypnotic, oscillating between sweetness and bitterness, idleness and anxiety. It has been qualified as pre/post drama music. Bio's musical forms can be compared to frippertronics or Eno's double-revox manipulations although it is definitely contemporary in its meaning. Elements are recycled again and again, often up to a complete degradation  slowly shaping up a new ground to sow new seeds. The cultural recycling then goes on as a subject in itself as well as the production and bio degradation process. He is composing for theater, dance and movie and is involved in contemporary art, working on sound installations and soundtracks. At the moment he is visiting skopje as a part of his european tour.

tiny noise 014:
Vialka /Balkan tour April 2009/
Support: Graham Young

26 april 2009 / Indi pub, Skopje, Macedonia

The dynamic duo of Marylise Frecheville and Eric Boros have been lugging their nomadic turbo folk (ha, not real "turbo-folk") sound and modus vivendi all over the planet since the turn of the century as Vialka. They have resided in Switzerland, Slovenia, Canada, and are currently calling a remote village in France their home between tours. Deriving its influences from traditional and modern underground music from around the globe, Vialka's music is based on the frenetic interaction between Marylise's syncopated drumming and singing and Eric's orchestral guitar playing - and is delivered with ecstatic energy, humor, lust for life, and a sophisticated musical language and subliminal connection all their own. Vialka is not just a musical project, but a social scientific experiment, attempting to meet, communicate and work with extraordinary and little known musicians and artists from everywhere and nowhere - with particular interest in polluted dictatorships, bleak colonies, and monarchic democracies. They have toured extensively in over forty-five countries (100+ concerts per year) across Europe, Africa, North America and Asia, have collaborated with lots of artists, has shared the stage with lots more and has played many internationally renowned festivals. On tiny noise festival 2007 we had chance to see Eric Boros with his solo project (because Marylise was pregnant) and nowits about time to see Vialka live with their full set up during their balkan tour.

Graham Young is psychedelic-pop band, existing more than a year, and witch existence is a result of a common interests and similar musical background. Graham Young likes to experiment with the instruments including the polyphonic vocal interpretation.

009 @ OPEN RADIO, Kanal103, Skopje, Macedonia + Monday, June 2nd, 2008
PERFORMERS:
+ afg-an / canary islands [antenna]

Organic, sometimes minimalist-sometimes maximalist electronic sounds created in a spontaneous form. Afg-an, a parallel proyect of GAF and Tupperwear, recreates in lengths and progressive developments sonorous textures that oscillate between drone landscapes and noise without concessions depending always on a constant interaction between the sound and the context through which they expand. This year afg-an will debut with the CD release 'White walls, black eyes' on the UK label Antenna Records held by The Telescopes.

+ Crno klank/ belgium [syrphe]
C1rno klank was born in the middle of 1989. The project started as a duo playing noise, industrial and experimental ; the two members were Vinofv -052 and C-drík [Kirdec, Axiome, Ambre, etc.]. In 1992 the band splitted [because of musical and above all political point of views] and C-drík decided to go on alone. But the project soon stayed more or less in standby until he decided to restart it as a collective in which several people from Belgium and France could play [XD, a throat singer, Greg Durez and Benjamin, who are musicians - above all drummers - in several traditional bands such as Les esprits frappeurs and JeannElisabeth Shrapnel and Aliena Vena as a singer]. But once again the project didn't last. C-drík is now mostly working alone for this project composing tracks including influences from traditional music, electro-acoustic, ambient, industrial, noise or power electronics.

Sunday, May 11th, 16h
Mariannenplatz 2 - 10997 Berlin, Germany [U-Bahn Kottbusser Tor]
Kyd Campbell spoke about the beginnings of tiny noise + projects in Eastern Europe

This talk was in the framework of the Activism and Accessibility of Technology panel. Kyd spoke alongside Andreea Carnu (RO) and Ana Filip (RO/SK), moderated by Jasmina Tesanovic (RS/USA).
HACKfemEAST is project curated byTatiana Bazzichelli and Gaia Novati sponsored by Hauptstadtkulturfonds and with the support of Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen. The exhibition project HACK.Fem.EAST seeks to present experimental and artistic practices of artists and activists working in digital networks in Eastern Europe. The main topics were media, art and hacking. The protagonists were women or projects in which women play an important role. The aim of the project is to provide and to develop a network platform. This was achieved through five elements: the exhibition, the opening event, two days of conferences, a publication in newspaper format and a website.
